Who we are
Guyton United Methodist Church seeks to honor God by leading people to become fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ. We work to offer ministries so that all can Know God, Grow in God, and Sow a message of Good News.
Pastor
Pastor Matt Waldron has served at Guyton UMC since June 2017. He is married to Kelley and they are the parents of Ellie and Charlie. He enjoys spending time with his family, playing the guitar, and reading. As a preacher and a pastor he enjoys studying and teaching the Bible and connecting people to God through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Pastor Matt has served as a United Methodist pastor since 2006. He can be reached at matt@GuytonUMC.org.
What we believe
At Guyton UMC we love Jesus and our active prayer ministry testifies to our belief in the power of prayer. As United Methodists we are rooted in the teachings of John and Charles Wesley. We affirm that our loving God is Holy Trinity and is the source of Life & Salvation. We join with the wider Christian family in affirming the truths confessed in the Apostles' Creed.
